Financial Aid
Families whose current financial circumstances may not fully support the tuition required to enroll in Bilingual Buds are encouraged to submit an application for assistance under the school's Financial Aid Program.
Our school seeks families who are committed to our vision and who plan to primarily use their own resources to make this education a priority for their children. The school will act as a partner to discover what resources are available to make a Bilingual Buds education possible.
FINANCIAL AID DEADLINE: Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their financial aid applications by March 1, 2012.
How the Program Works
- The Student must be enrolled in or accepted for enrollment into a 5 day-per-week Day School program at Bilingual Buds.
- The application and corresponding documentation (the parents' W-2s and IRS form 1040s for the last two years) must be supplied to the School's external provider, School & Student Services (SSS).
- A letter outlining the need for Financial Aid, the duration of time Financial Aid may be required, the conditions under which the applicant would no longer require some or all of the Financial Aid provided, and ways in which the applicant could contribute to the school in return for receiving financial aid must be submitted to the school's Financial Aid Officer, Bill Hicks.
- The school's Financial Aid Officer receives the results from SSS, processes the completed application and notifies the parents within two weeks for new students, or by March 16, 2012 for returning students.
Levels of Assistance
There are three levels of Financial Aid awards available to families who qualify: 10%, 25%, or 40% off the annual tuition.
How to Apply
Submit your application and all documentation to School and Student Services (SSS). There is a $37 fee payable to SSS for this service when applying online, and a $49 fee for paper submissions.
Confidentiality
This is a confidential process that ensures the privacy of the applicant and the recipient of Financial Aid:
- Only the Financial Aid Officer will see the data provided by SSS.
- This data will be shredded or returned to the applicant when no longer needed.
- Financial Aid award information will be limited to only those school officials with a "need to know."
