Educational Philosophy

Carmen Giusto, Educational Director, NY

I believe children must be respected as individuals with special talents and learning styles. Children learn best when they are nurtured and comfortable so they will take the necessary risks to grow and develop, become critical thinkers and life-long learners.

The environment and curriculum should be well planned and offer opportunities to explore and discover by using various mediums and teaching methods. This will ensure that each child’s strengths and interests are used to enhance their learning and prepare them for their future educational challenges.

 Renee Reyes, Educational Director, NJ

The desire to make a difference in the lives of children guided me into the field of education many years ago. Over the last two decades I have had the honor of working with hundreds of students with diverse interests and talents, and my excitement only continues to grow. I am committed to an educational philosophy that centers on a holistic approach to teaching--I believe that effective instruction must develop children's academic, social and emotional potentials. I am thrilled to join Bilingual Buds, a school where learning is ignited, and where academic success is part of a warm, and nurturing environment. I look forward to drawing on my past experiences and skills to work with the talented staff, committed students and families to build on the school's successes.
